Kauai 3.15.10 – Lithified Cliffs

Went for a hike yesterday along the Makawehi Lithified Cliffs. The cliffs were formed from cemented sand dunes that were deposited during the last ice age. The wind, salt, and waves have have worn away the shoreline over the centuries forming some impressive looking cliffs. It was pretty freaking awesome.
