There’s a Lot to Like About Paula Creamer

I’m a fan of Paula Creamer. And there’s a lot to like. For instance:

She’s really good at what she does
The 21-year old Californian won the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic over the weekend going wire-to-wire in the victory which included a ridiculous 11 birdie opening round of 60. That’s just one stroke shy of the famous low round record of 59, shot by Annika Sorenstam. This was Paula’s 7th career victory and her 3rd of the 2008 season.

$he’s got money
With this recent triumph she will cash a $195,000 check and bring her career winnings to over $5 million. Not a bad weekend for a 21-yeard old.

She’s really attractive

She gets it
Paula’s skill and good looks have pretty much made her the new face of the LPGA. There are too many young, rich, obnoxious athletes out there that don’t appreciate the position they are in so it’s good to read something like this:

She made a lot of friends on the course despite not playing well. She waved to little kids behind the ropes, chatted with tournament officials between holes and even made a point to walk over to get a close look at some ducks splashing in the creek near the eighth green.

I also like her because she can bring the web traffic! For various reasons, Paula Creamer is the most frequently used search term people use to find this blog. I posted about her a couple times prior when she and the other lovely ladies of the LPGA came to Charleston for a tournament back in May. So I thought I’d take advantage of Paula’s charisma, beauty, and web traffic while it’s timely.
